2023 Forms Packet
Hard copies of the 2023 registration/MISD permission forms packet are in the band hall. Pick one up at your In-Town Tuesday.
Marching Band Rehearsal Shoes
I had a parent reach out to me asking about good shoes for the student for marching band rehearsals. Here is a link below from experts that work in Drum Corps International (DCI) recommend. Students who participate in DCI often rehearse 12-14 hours a day, so the correct shoe is a must.
Students – Uniform Fitting (repeat from last week)
For those of you who missed this movement camp, all students were fitted for a uniform. If your name is listed below, please either message me on the BAND app or reply to this email with a “form fitting” shirt size from Extra Small to 5XL. Both male and female sizes are used. If you have a friend that is about your size, ask them what size they ended up getting. I am missing sizes from the following students:
Students – Go Move/Workout 🏃♀️🏃♂️💪👟 (repeat from last week)
Do a little bit every day. Walk the dog, go for a jog, lift weights, do push-ups/sit-ups/pull-ups, just move so your body is ready for marching band.
