9/18/23-9/23/23 and 9/25/23-9/30/23

9/21/23 – Football vs Burleson at Newsom (Senior Night)
blue band shirt, black band shorts, long black socks, marching shoes
call time 4:45 in the Summit stadium.
*If cool enough, and no chance of rain, we will wear our competition uniform to prepare for our first contest!
approx end time 11:00
Meet at the Summit stadium in posted uniform, no instrument. Inspection at 5:25, load buses at 5:30, head to Newsom. Summit is home team and will perform second at half time. Senior night ceremony will be pregame. Students will keep their competition uniform overnight and bring it to rehearsal the next day.

Senior Night Info:
A few reminders for Senior Night: (please share this information with parents)
1. No balloons
2. No outside food and drinks (goody baskets)
3. Parents must purchase a ticket
We will start gathering parents and lining up the groups at 6:10 p.m. in the D zone by the jumbo-tron. Senior night introductions will begin around 6:25 p.m.

9/22/23 – Dress Rehearsal at RL Anderson

Student must bring uniform to rehearsal and be in uniform by call time
Students should show up with the hair style they will perform in for the contest
8:30 – call time for students who have instruments on truck, field crew, prop crew, and leadership
8:45 – call time for all others – get dressed into uniform (if cool enough)
9:00 – rehearsal starts
Students must find ride to get to RLA. Please show up at posted call time to ensure we maximize rehearsal time in the stadium.

9/23/23 – Contest at Newsom Stadium (Mansfield Preview of Champions):

9/26/23 – Rehearsal at Newsom Stadium
Load props and large instruments after school. Pick up uniform after school to take to rehearsal
4:30 – call time for students who have instruments on truck, field crew, prop crew, and leadership.
4:45 – call time for all others
5:00 – rehearsal starts
Percussion will be loaded during 1st/5th block. Students must find ride to get to Newsom. Prop crew will be needed to unload and move props to the field, and elevator/backdrops should be loaded)

9/30/23 – Contest at Crowley Multi Purpose Stadium (US Bands Dallas Regional)
